Smith made his NASCAR debut in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2002 at the age of 18, while racing for MB Motorsports. Over the next five years Smith bounced around many under funded teams between the Trucks Series and the Busch Series. He recorded a number of Top 10 finishes, but is still looking for his first NASCAR win. In 2007 Smith signed with Ginn Racing where he will be a part-time driver on the Nextel Cup Circuit while sharing a car with Mark Martin. |
