Ambrose made a name for himself on the Australian V8 Supercar series where he first began racing in 2001. He went on to win back-to-back V8 Supercar championships in 2003 and 2004. In 2006 Ambrose made his NASCAR debut in the Truck Series and a year later he moved up to the Busch Series where he finished eighth in points. Ambrose drove in the 2008 Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway as a road-course ringer for Wood Brothers Racing. He finished 42nd. |
