Martin wins at Michigan

Mark Martin cruised past the leaders as they ran out of gas on the final laps Sunday to record his third win of the season in the LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

Tony Stewart finished seventh on Sunday and retained the lead in the driver standings. Stewart now leads Jeff Gordon, who was second at Michigan, by 47 points.

Following Martin and Gordon across the finish line on Sunday was Denny Hamlin in third, Carl Edwards in fourth and Greg Biffle in fifth. Juan Pablo Montoya was sixth, Stewart was seventh and Kurt Busch was eighth. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Brian Vickers and Clint Bowyer.

The Sprint Cup Series returns to the track next Sunday at Infineon Raceway for the Toyota/Save Mart 350.
