Mark Martin started off The Chase win a victory Sunday afternoon, as he took the checkered flag in the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

With the win Martin increased his lead atop the Chase standings. Martin now leads both Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin by 35 points.

Following Martin over the finish line on Sunday were Juan Pablo Montoya in second and Hamlin in third. Johnson was fourth, Kyle Busch was fifth and Kurt Busch was sixth. Ryan Newman finished seventh and Elliott Sadler was eighth. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 at New Hampshire were Greg Biffle in ninth and Clint Bowyer in tenth.

The Chase continues next week at Dover International Speedway with the AAA 400.
