Button debuted with the Williams team in 2000, only to be let go a year later. He jumped on board with Benetton for a short stint and got himself noticed with a ninth-place finish in 2003. Button scored in every race he finished in 2004. He bought himself out of a contract with Williams in 2006 and signed a multi-year deal with Honda, while finishing sixth in the standings. |
